FEM simulation workshop for students of TU Delft

We recently organised another FEM simulation workshop for students of TU Delft | Mastertrack IPD Industrial Design, in collaboration with Futury – IPD.

After a brief introduction to our work at BPO, the students set to work setting up a FEM simulation themselves: from creating a Free Body Diagram to analysing a specific load case. The workshop tied in nicely with their studies and, thanks to our specialist knowledge of FEM simulations, went a step deeper into the technology.

The students were enthusiastic and found it interesting to further optimise a physical product using a digital approach, taking into account the (injection moulding) requirements.

At BPO, we like to stay in touch with students and look back on a successful afternoon!
